G20 Hangzhou Summit is a summit indicating the direction of the global economy. To better display Hangzhou’s brand-new appearance, Hangzhou Municipal Government upgraded the environmental guide signs in urban public spaces extensively.
Based on Hangzhou’s cultural deposits through thousands of years, open and energetic modern city image, with the collision of history and modern times, the connection between culture and communication as the starting point, the guide signs are shaped to express Hangzhou’s fashion and vitality via a modern design language; the use of color displays Hangzhou’s cultural deposits passed down through thousands of years by selecting calm and majestic hues. Meanwhile, based on different applications in the public system, the connection and fusion of history and modern times, eastern and western cultures are effectively realized.
