鹃湖公园位于海宁市中心城区东南侧的紫薇组团，总设计面积约为2.9平方公里。标识整体造型采用现代化流线型设计风格，与鹃湖城市公园里静态、生态、动态的现代人生活气息相吻合。牌体以鹃湖纯净的特征为基础，采用流线型的立面设计手法既灵动的表现出湖水的动态与柔美，还看似湖边坐落的礁石，在潮水来袭水浪拍石别有一番风味，与环境完美结合。在材质上也选取了经久耐用的不锈钢板和环保的亚克力两种材质。牌体的颜色选取蓝色渐变色，与鹃湖的湖水颜色相呼应。整体设计构思充分的体现出现代设计提倡的均好性。
